A component that transfers toner images from the drum(s) onto paper before the fusing process.
The Transfer Belt Unit (also called the Intermediate Transfer Belt or ITB) collects toner from one or more drum units and transfers the complete image onto the paper. It is especially important in color photocopiers where multiple toner colors must be accurately combined.
