An Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) for Gas Generator is an electrical switching device that automatically transfers power supply between the utility grid and a gas generator during power failures.
An Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is a critical component in standby power systems that ensures uninterrupted electricity supply by automatically switching connected loads between the main utility power source and a backup gas generator set.
During normal operation, the ATS supplies power from the utility grid. When a power outage, voltage drop, or frequency abnormality is detected, the ATS sends a start signal to the gas generator. Once the generator reaches stable operating conditions, the ATS automatically transfers the load to generator power. When utility power is restored, it safely transfers the load back and shuts down the generator after a cooling period.
ATS systems are widely used in hospitals, data centers, industries, commercial buildings, telecom facilities, and critical infrastructure where continuous power availability is essential.
