Combined Type 1+2 Surge Protection Device (SPD)

A Combined Type 1+2 SPD integrates the functions of Type 1 (Lightning Current Arrester) and Type 2 (Surge Arrester) into a single device. Installed at the main electrical distribution board or service entrance, it safely diverts high-energy surge currents to the grounding system, protecting electrical equipment from damage.

These SPDs are commonly used in buildings equipped with external lightning protection systems (LPS) and in facilities requiring a high level of surge protection.
